TPI SPR4
High-level water-reducing and set-retarding admixture for concrete.
TPI SPR4 DESCRIPTION
It is a highly effective superplasticizer that extends the setting time for concrete production in hot climates and also acts as a significant water-reducing agent to increase the ultimate strength of the concrete.
TPI SPR4 Complies with ASTM C494 Type D & G standards.
APPLICATION TPI SPR4 Superplasticizer
TPI SPR4 Primarily suitable for concrete production in ready-mix concrete plants and on-site batching plants. TPI SPR4 It can be used for the following types of concrete:
- Concrete is transported over long distances.
- Concrete for roads.
- Slipform concrete.
- Thin structural elements with high steel density.
- Foundations, floor slabs. Walls, columns, beams, girders.
ADVANTAGES OF TPI SPR4 ADDITIVE
TPI SPR4 It is a superplasticizer:
- High efficiency without increasing the water/cement ratio or risking segregation.
- Maintaining the slump of concrete over a long period.
- No adverse effect on final intensity.
TPI SPR4 It is a water-reducing agent:
- Concrete strength is significantly increased.
- This allows for a significant reduction in cement dosage compared to concrete without additives.
- Suitable for construction in hot weather conditions.
- It does not increase air entrainment.
- Reduces shrinkage.
- Improve the surface finish.
- Increases water resistance.

INSTRUCTIONS FOR USE
Measuring and mixing:
- TPI SPR4 It can be added directly to the pre-measured water for the concrete before adding it to the dry concrete mix, or the additive can be added separately to the wet concrete mix. When added directly to freshly mixed concrete, the plasticizing effect is more pronounced.
- To ensure effective dispersion of the additive, we recommend a minimum mixing time of 60 seconds.
- When adding the remaining water from the mix to adjust the concrete's consistency, this should be done at least after 2/3 of the wet mixing time to avoid excess water in the concrete.
- A suitable mixer must be used; mixing by hand is not permitted.
Pouring concrete:
- Thanks to the use TPI SPR4 It is possible to produce the highest quality concrete; however, concrete technology processes such as mixing, pouring, vibrating, and curing must be followed and applied.
Maintenance:
- Effective concrete curing measures need to be implemented.
Overdose:
- Using significantly excessive amounts will lead to increased workability and a longer setting time for the concrete. However, if the concrete is properly cured, its final strength and properties will not be affected.
- Because the setting time is extended, proper curing of the concrete is essential. Do not compact young concrete or disturb the reinforcement while the concrete is setting.
