DESCRIBE

TPI Q-Proof 8EC This is a two-component, polymer-modified cement-based waterproofing mortar. The product is applied to mortar and concrete surfaces to prevent water penetration.

USES

TPI Q-Proof 8EC Used for waterproofing inside and outside buildings, in repair work, and for protection against frost and de-icing agents. Application area:

• Drinking water tanks, fire fighting water tanks.
• Basement, rooftop, and balcony.
• Bridges and retaining walls.
• Fill in the hairline cracks that have developed and stabilized.

PRODUCT INSTALLATION INSTRUCTIONS

Prepare the construction surface.

• Concrete and mortar surfaces must be clean and free of grease and other loose particles.
• Absorbent surfaces must be fully saturated before applying the coating. TPI Q-Proof 8EC the first.

Mix the products

• Under normal conditions, mixing both components together in the recommended ratio will form a thick, paste-like consistency.
• Mix in a clean container by gradually adding the powder ingredients to the liquid ingredients and mixing thoroughly with an electric mixer on low speed (below 500 rpm).

Construction

• Construction of the layer TPI Q-Proof 8EC First, apply to the fully saturated surface using a brush, wire brush, or trowel.
• Allow the product to cure for 1-2 hours at a temperature above 27°C before applying the second coat.
• When applying the coating to the floor, to avoid damaging the first layer, the second layer should be applied after approximately 2 hours. If the second layer is applied after 8 hours or more, the first layer must be moistened before proceeding with the second layer.

Maintenance of the waterproofing layer

• Like other cement-based products, curing treatment is required. TPI Q-Proof 8EC Immediately after construction, avoiding direct sunlight, strong winds, and frost for 3 to 5 days is essential to ensure the material fully hydrates and minimizes small cracks.
• Use plastic sheeting for maintenance or other approved measures.

Cleaning the tools

• Clean all tools and equipment with clean water immediately after use.
• Hardened material can only be cleaned by mechanical means.

Note

• After application, allow a minimum drying time of 3 days before soaking in water.
• Always use a connecting oil reservoir. TPI Latex To prevent blistering when applying the finishing/protective mortar layer over the waterproofing layer.
• Always construct a sample area before starting mass production.

TPI Q-Proof 8EC May cause allergic reactions. Appropriate precautions should be taken to minimize skin contact. If the product splashes into the eyes or mucous membranes, rinse with clean water and seek medical attention immediately.
