INSTALLATION INSTRUCTIONS
Surface preparation
- The surface must be clean, solid, and completely cured. All debris from cement mortar, oil, grease, release agents, and other loose components that may hinder adhesion must be removed from the application surface using appropriate mechanical means, such as a wire brush.
- For surfaces where moss, algae, or mold may appear, treat them with appropriate chemicals after the initial cleaning process, then rinse thoroughly.
- For uneven surfaces, surfaces with air bubbles, voids, or large cracks, the first step is to fill them with high-strength mortar combined with... TPI Latex P100. This facilitates the application of the coating. TPI A100 Continuous and best.
- All corners must be rounded with cement-sand mortar to ensure the waterproofing membrane can be applied and adheres optimally.
- For existing surfaces: When applying over an existing coating, ensure that the coating is firm and stable. Conduct compatibility tests to ensure the adhesion between the subfloor and the substrate is maintained. For further advice, consult the TPI technical consulting department on-site.
Construction
Stir the product well before application.
For wall surfaces
- For surfaces with poor adhesion or high absorbency, apply a primer coat. TPI A100 contains added 10% water.. Then wait for it to dry for at least 2 hours.
- Apply two layers. TPI A100 with a coverage rate of approximately 0.3 kg/m²/layer using a brush, roller, or spray machine.
For wall surfaces with fiber reinforcement
- Applying the primer layer TPI A100 contains added 10% water..Then wait for it to dry for at least 2 hours.
- Construction of the first layer TPI A100 Apply at a rate of 0.8-1.0 kg/m2/layer using a brush, roller, or spray machine. Immediately apply the reinforcing mesh while the membrane is still wet. The reinforcing mesh joints must overlap by at least 50mm.
- Applying the second layer TPI A100 Apply at a rate of 0.8-1.0 kg/m2/layer on top of the reinforcing mesh. Ensure good wetting between the mesh and the second coat. Allow to dry for a minimum of 2 hours.
- Applying the third layer TPI A100 Apply at a rate of 0.3 kg/m²/layer, finishing at the corners for the final coat and protecting the surface from rain until completely dry.
Toilet
Clean the equipment and tools before use. TPI A100 Dry and rinse with clean water. After TPI A100 Once it has hardened, it can only be cleaned by mechanical means.
Notes on construction
- It is recommended to always apply a minimum of two coats.
- The ambient temperature and surface temperature must be below 35°C during construction.
- Do not attempt construction work when rain is imminent.
- Not recommended for use. TPI A100 places where water accumulates or is continuously submerged.
- Allow a minimum of 3 days for the cement-based mortar surface to cure before application. TPI A100.
- Concrete surface moisture <17%
