TPI PU21 USER GUIDE
Surface preparation:
- The surface must be thoroughly cleaned of dust and grease before waterproofing.
- Repair any cracks or defects on the concrete or cement surface before applying waterproofing.
Applying the primer layer:
- Apply the primer coat. TPI AQUA PRIME with definition Level 0.1 – 0.2 kg/m2.
- A waterproofing layer should be applied. TPI Q-Proof PU21 After the primer coat has just started to set, usually about 2-4 hours after priming, the next coat must be applied. TPI Q-Proof PU21 before the lining has fully cured.
- If TPI Q-Proof PU21 No work should be done within 48 hours of applying the primer; the surfaces must be repainted.
Use:
- Stir well. TPI Q-Proof PU21 Before use.
- Construction TPI Q-Proof PU21 by brushing, rolling, or spraying at a rate of 0.6 – 0.8 kg/m²/layer.
- For vertical surfaces, to achieve the correct film thickness, apply two coats with a lighter load to avoid sagging, especially in high-temperature environments. Apply the two coats perpendicular to each other to create a uniform coating. If a water test is required afterward, wait at least 10 days.
- The first coat must be dry before applying the second coat. The second coat should, in all cases, be applied within 12 hours of the first coat drying.
- Protect the waterproofing layer from contact with water for 60-120 minutes until it is dry to the touch.
Notes on TPI PU21 application:
- All right-angled edges must have a layer of mortar applied to the corner to create a slope of at least 25x25mm before construction begins. TPI Q-Proof PU21.
- All edges, protrusions, and depressions must be treated before construction begins. TPI Q-Proof PU21 Extend from 50÷100mm on both sides of the part.
- These treated areas need to dry overnight before applying the membrane.
- In key or necessary areas, TPI Q-Proof PU21 It can be reinforced by using a suitable fiberglass mesh.
- To provide additional protection for the waterproofing layer. TPI Q-Proof PU21, A layer of cement mortar can then be applied on top. This mortar layer should be mixed with additional mortar. TPI Latex proportionally 5 liters of TPI Latex per 1 cubic meter of cement mortar.
Toilet:
- Clean the equipment and tools before use. TPI Q-Proof PU21 Once dry, rinse with clean water.
- After TPI Q-Proof PU21 Once it has hardened, it can only be cleaned by mechanical means.
