INSTRUCTIONS FOR USE TPI GROUT 40
Surface preparation:
- The concrete surface must be clean, solid, free of oil, grease, impurities, and other loose components.
- Metal surfaces (iron, steel) must be free of scale, rust, or grease.
- Absorbent surfaces must be completely saturated, but without standing water.
Mix the products:
- The powder is added gradually to the pre-measured container of water until the desired consistency is achieved.
- When using an electric mixer, mix at a low speed (maximum 500 rpm) for at least 3 minutes until a smooth, creamy mixture is achieved.
Product installation:
- Wet the entire surface with water, but avoid letting water pool in the bolt holes.
- Pour the grout immediately after mixing. It is possible to pour the grout into the bolt holes first, then pour it into the machine base afterwards.
- It is essential to ensure that all air bubbles in the mortar are removed.
- When pouring grout into the machine base or beneath the base plate, ensure that pressure is maintained to keep the grout flowing continuously. Ensure that the formwork is securely erected and watertight.
- To achieve optimal expansion, the grout should be poured as quickly as possible.
Maintenance:
- Keep the exposed surface area of the mortar as small as possible and protect the mortar from premature water loss using standard curing methods.
- A minimum curing time of 3 days is required for exposed plaster surfaces.
- The minimum application temperature is 10°C. If the application temperature is below 20°C, the setting time and strength will be slower.
Toilet:
- Rinse tools thoroughly with water immediately after use. Hardened mortar can only be removed by mechanical means.
